Exercises — Venezuelan Cuatro

Daily drills generated from the A-D-F#-B neck — hear each one, then play it even.

Short, repeatable drills with tab and playback, generated from the Venezuelan Cuatro's own A-D-F#-B geometry: an evenness drill for the striking hand, string-crossing accuracy, and a chromatic run for the fretting hand. Nothing here is transcribed — each drill is computed from this instrument's open pitches, so it lands honestly on the fold instead of stepping over it.

Practise these against a slow three and count the six underneath it. Almost everything a cuatrista plays is built on that pair of readings at the same time, and a drill played to a click that only counts one of them teaches half the skill.
