Chord Voicings — Venezuelan Cuatro
Pick a root and A-D-F#-B answers: every quality, fingered and charted.
The Venezuelan Cuatro chord reference: pick a root, then any of 54 qualities, and every charted grip arrives on A-D-F#-B with its frets, its fingers, and audio.
Four single nylon strings, no doubling anywhere, and a hand that almost never stops moving. The Venezuelan instrument answers a chord with a block of sound rather than a spread of notes, and the tuning is what forces that: fold the top of the range back inside the sweep and the whole grip arrives at once.
Ordered as they sit under the hand, the open strings climb steadily to the top and then drop a perfect fifth at the very last pair, spanning a major sixth in all — and because of that the highest string is not the outermost one, so a stroke reaches its top note early and the rest of the grip lands underneath it as a block.
That is also what makes the frenado work. Brake the strings at the moment of the stroke and the block turns into a dry snap with no pitch in it — a percussion event a chart cannot draw, which is why the golpe pages declare every one of them instead.
Voicings are computed for this tuning by the shared voicing generator, not borrowed from another instrument; traditional technique may still use idiomatic shapes not charted here.
